Functional Clinical Assessments (FCA)

The Functional Clinical Assessments (FCA) is one of the Nutritional Therapy Practitioner tools for assessing a client’s health and is used to identify deficiencies and imbalances. This hands-on evaluation is performed through a series of palpitations on specific reflexes found in soft tissue that correlate with specific organs to find out which organs are overly stressed. It taps into the body’s innate ability to express where it needs support. We will be using a tenderness scale of 0-10. Functional Nutritional Therapy Practitioner uses FCA with conjunction with Lingual-Neuro Testing (LNT) as a biofeedback tool to determine the usefulness of a supplement before it is recommended to the client. “Because of the electrical connection between the brain and organs, we can place a specific nutrient on the tongue that each organ needs which is registered by the brain. If the nutrient is exactly what that organ system needs to restore function, we get direct feedback within around 15 seconds via a change in tenderness rating.” Our bodies innate immune system knows, as the “Gut Feeling”, is always trying to communicate with us. We just have to learn how to listen to those signals.
